Burial Ground Maps

To navigate to a specific plot when you are visiting the cemetery, click on the search button (magnifying glass) in the red header on the left side of the map. Type in the plot number or name. (Note if you are unable to find a grave via name, try parts of the name, such as only last name, or only first name, in case the recorded name differs from what you have). This will provide a list that you can choose from. When search results appear, click on the correct plot. You may need to click “see all results” to expand the list.

You will see a blue dot representing your location, and the location marker for the plot you are navigating will be enlarged. This will allow you to begin walking to the grave.

To search for a specific plot, users can search by plot number or name, or any words on the record such as text in the narrative. To read a narrative and view any pictures posted about those interred in a specific plot, search and locate the plot you are looking for (link to Lookup/Search for a Specific Plot), you may view any narrative and pictures posted in the left hand side bar, under “Narrative”.

Burial areas are displayed on the right side of the google map, with different colors representing the different burial ground areas respectively, Upper and Lower Mountain View Meadow, Upper and Lower Twin Meadows, and The Wilds.

Plot availability is noted on each record. Also, one may search for “available” to get a list of all available plots.
